Okay MP3 trimmer and voice recorder. I've trimmed a few files & it's pretty simple to use but it doesn't save my tag edits. I just edited a tag of a new voice recording I made to add the year and it said it saved successfully but when I went to view the file details the year wasn't there and when I went in to edit the tag again the year also wasn't there. It also says it can't access my SD card. Some instructions would be nice. I might be looking for a replacement app.

Exceptional App! I've been using this app for several years, possibly over half a decade. If you have patience and tweak the timing and edit the names, flawless for a free app. Edit - As of today, 4/17/2026, the app has a bug/twitch and is either adding the beginning of a previous song or ending of another, when trimming large mixtapes/playlists that run simultaneously. App owner, please fix at a time convenient. Thanks.

Not the easiest to use, but after the learning curve it is functionally quite sound for my purposes (of breaking up meeting transcripts into 20-minute chunks). It could use better zoom capability and better/tighter file system integration, if I had my druthers, but no way will I knock it for those minor kinds of "nit-picking" issues. As far as I'm concerned, this is the audio editing app to beat right now. Hat tip to the authors! :-)
